FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA

Fort Pierce, Florida, located in St. Lucie County, is 10 miles north of Port St. Lucie and 116 miles north of Miami. Situated on Florida’s Treasure Coast, it is one of the oldest communities on the state’s East Coast. The city spans approximately 35.07 square miles and has a population of 49,139 as of 2023. It is part of the Fort Pierce Metropolitan Statistical Area and boasts an ethnically diverse population.

PORT ST LUCIE, FLORIDA

The City of Port St. Lucie, the most populous city in St. Lucie County, was incorporated in 1961. It is located near the Atlantic Ocean on Florida’s southeast coast, in the southern part of St. Lucie County, between Indian River County to the north and Martin County to the south. Covering 120 square miles, Port St. Lucie is the seventh-largest city in Florida, with a population of 202,769 as of July 1, 2021. Once considered the fastest growing community in both the state and the country, the city continues to expand.
